35 Years of MetaSystems - 1995

The topic of artificial intelligence (AI) received a new impetus in 1995 due to the textbook "Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach" by S. J. Russell and P. Norvig. It is still referred to today as "the most popular artificial intelligence textbook in the world." Chapter 22 of the latest edition deals with Deep Learning, a technology that MetaSystems also uses for its numerous AI-related image analysis tasks.
