Networking a Hundred Years Ago.
35 Years of MetaSystems - 2014
In 2014, the oldest known message in a bottle to date was caught in the net of a fisherman in Germany. In a beer bottle he found a postcard that was almost 101 years old. A man named Richard Platz from Berlin had addressed it to himself on May 17th, 1913, and enclosed stamps. He asked the finder to send the postcard back. In April 2014, the postcard reached the sender's granddaughter in Berlin. In imaging solutions by MetaSystems, messages are passed on in other ways, for example, in networks of Neon workstations, where every user always has access to the data and images relevant to them.
