Alarm Bells Ringing.
35 Years of MetaSystems - 2011
警鐘鳴る
On March 11th, 2011, the Tōhoku earthquake about 370 km northeast of Tokyo generated a tsunami tidal wave that inundated large parts of Japan's Pacific coast. As a result, there was also a series of accidents at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, which released large amounts of radioactive material. People affected by radiation accidents are usually examined using retrospective dosimetry (also called biological dosimetry). MetaSystems automates several of the tests commonly used in this context.
Visit our biodosimetry page for more details.
